Our Playscheme

Our Aim

To provide fun and entertainment for children in our care. We offer a variety of activities to encourage independence and social skills, hoping that your child will want to return! Some of the activities we offer are: Arts + crafts, outings, team games, cooking, quiet play. Role play, construction toy's, face paints, playstation, outside play etc.

There is the opportunity for free play throughout the day. The main part of the day involves sessions that the children and young people select themselves from various options on offer. Sessions comprise a mix of active games, offsite trips, craft activities programmes are published in advance.

We strive to go on a trip every day. i.e. to the park, bowling, play centre etc. This is subject to change near the time due to weather conditions or childrens choice.

Your child must bring a packed lunch with ice blocks, to keep the food cool as we have no cool storage facilities.

Limited places available. To avoid disappointment, book your place early as we run a strict first come first serve basis.

All staff hold an enhanced DBS disclosure. A high proportion of staff hold a full and relevant level three or higher qualification (some staff are qualified teachers). Safeguarding and child protection training is updated regularly. A high proportion of the staff team hold a current paediatric First Aid certificate. Robust behaviour management procedures. We work on a minim ratio of 1:10 (often it is much higher).
